If you are like many people I know, you have received a Meta Quest 2 over the holidays, congratulations! Whether it's your first VR headset, an upgrade, or you've decided to take advantage of the Quest exclusives, now is a great time to get in!

10. Gorilla Tag

This game has exploded in popularity this year, even though it's still on the App Lab and not the main Quest store. Despite the simple graphics and gameplay, the novelty of the idea and satisfaction of the movement physics have placed this title in our top 10. This game is very popular especially with the younger audiences judging by the tone of the voice chat.

9. The Climb 2

As with a lot of other games on this list, the key to a great VR experience is finding a unique gameplay experience that you can't get anywhere else. The Climb 2 is no exception. This polished and well executed Climbing simulation game will have you feeling things when you inevitably fall. The only flaw I've found is that if you are tall, you will need high ceilings to play it!

8. Walkabout Mini Golf

Walkabout Mini Golf is one of those addictive yet casual gaming experiences that you can find on the Quest 2. The environments and beautifully detailed and the coarse design is very intricate. You'll be hard pressed to stop at one coarse!

7. Rec Room

Rec Room is one of those primitive "metaverse" type of experiences that all of the hype is about. It's an avatar based social sandbox, meaning that each player has an individualized avatar representation of themselves in game, which is the focus of their experience. Communication is accomplished mainly through voice chat and friend systems. Some of the top games created in the sandbox environment are Laser Tag, Paint Ball, and VR recreations of some major flat screen games.

6. Vader Immortal

A first person VR star wars adventure with story depth, combat, puzzles and lightsaber battles! What's not to love? This is a series in 3 episodes.

5. VR Chat

Much like Rec Room, VR Chat is another "metaverse" style of game, which is focused on custom avatars, custom worlds, exploration, and most importantly social interaction. Although it does have game style worlds, the social part of VR Chat takes precedence. There are a large and diverse number of beautifully immersive worlds to explore, or go "world hopping" across.

4. Population: One

Do you enjoy battle royale types of games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends and PUBG? Would you like it even more in VR? Then this is the game for you!

3. Blade And Sorcery: Nomad

Sometimes described as a combat sandbox, this game is styled in a medieval setting and allows players to experience extremely realistic combat via it's amazingly polished physics. You can use Melee weapons, ranged weapons, hand to hand, or even cast magic!

2. Resident Evil 4: VR

Resident Evil 4 is often described as one of the top gaming experiences of all time, and the best in the resident evil series. This VR remake stays true to the original, while fully employing the unique control methods available to VR gaming on the Quest 2. This game is also a Quest 2 exclusive.

1. Beatsaber

While hardly a new game, there is a reason why it's remained so popular throughout the years. Beatsaber is the ultimate casual and addictive VR game. While you can have a lot of fun and let off a lot of pent up energy as a casual play, the game also offers a lot of depth for the hardcore fanbase as well. The soundtrack and sound addons offer something for everyone.

There are many other experiences that also deserve a spot in your VR rotation, but we had to limit it to 10 starter experiences for practicality's sake.
