Meta had announced plans to acquire Supernatural developer Within for around 400M in late October of this year, but it seems that the FTC has throw a wrench into the works.
The FTC has announced that it has begun a probe of Meta's planned acquisition, including whether there are any anti-competitive implications in the purchase.
Meta has gone through a name change and a pivot of business planning, however it still cannot seem to shake the spotlight of the government over the past couple of years.
