The final day of CES 2023 has come and gone, and we here at VRCrashed would like to provide our readers with a series of concise recaps to make sure you didn't miss anything in the whirlwind! We start with the PSVR 2, read on.
First let us start with major new title announcements:
Gran Turismo 7 is getting a free VR mode update for PSVR2. This is a much welcome addition to the lineup, as racing sims have long been one of the most popular past times for VR enthusiasts on the PCVR end of things. The VR mode is said to be available at PSVR 2 launch day.
Beat Saber - although it's a little surprising considering Beat Saber is produced by Meta owned studio Beat Games, the title is confirmed to be coming to the PSVR 2. It's important to note that Beat Saber was also released on the original PSVR.
These new announcements are in addition to the already announced marque PSVR 2 experiences - Horizon Call of the Mountain, and Resident Evil Village VR Mode.
The other major news about PSVR 2 comes from the plentitude of new hands on reactions to the headset. The biggest takeaways from reviewers where that the controllers are great, the haptics are industry leading, and the visuals are impressive.
